Whittaker Property Group

Whittaker Property Group was founded by Grant Whittaker, one of Brisbane’s leading property specialists and an experienced company director.

​

Grant enjoys crafting strategy to deliver challenging revenue and profitability targets in demanding environments. Having spent more than thirty years in the Australian property market, with fifteen years as Managing Director of Knight Frank Queensland, Grant excels at identifying and securing new opportunities across all property sectors. He is adept at forging, sustaining and leveraging business relationships to provide win-win outcomes and now shares his experience as a company director and advisory board member.

Grant has created an extensive network over the course of his career, built on his respect for people - whether they be clients, colleagues or partners - and he is happy to share this network with clients of Whittaker Property Group.

Grant is a qualified property valuer and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Zupp Property Group (ZPG) has engaged Whittaker Property Group to assist with property acquisitions and adding value to its property portfolio.
Whittaker Property Group continues to work with ZPG to identify opportunities where there is potential to add value via further development, managing risk, refurbishment, re-leasing, or repositioning. Once acquired, Whittaker Property Group provides advice on how to unlock that additional value.

Zupp Property Group

Whittaker Property Group was engaged by the PMSA to assist with a strategic property acquisition. This required strategic advice and assistance throughout the three stage process behind the assessment and potential acquisition of the site. Evaluating the property’s potential, including the commissioning of a valuation presented to the board was a critical part of this process.

Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association (PMSA)

Whittaker Property Group has been working with Ipswich City Council for more than eight years, providing strategic advice on the redevelopment of the Ipswich City Centre. This advice has included preparation of the marketing strategy and the concept planning for this critical holding. The project has included working through detailed feasibility analysis on various development options to determine the most practical and viable development, identifying a compatible JV partner and structuring a leaseback of the proposed office building on site within market parameters to maximise value.

Ipswich City Council

Whittaker Property Group was engaged by the Port of Brisbane to provide advice on the marketing and strategy for property holdings at Murarrie and Colmslie. Whittaker Property Group assisted with leasing and marketing programs through engagement of agents and consultants for land holdings within the Port precincts. Developing overarching marketing and positioning strategies was a significant part of this project.

Whittaker Property Group has been engaged by Controlled Thermal Resources (CTR) to assist with its capital raising and promotional program. Grant’s extensive network of investors and high net worth individuals together with his property experience are contributing to the growth of CTR.

Whittaker Property Group was engaged to assist with the repositioning of the Lakes Vista Office Park at North Lakes. The marketing strategy entailed a repositioning of the office asset, including restructuring the rental offering and a targeted marketing program with structured agent engagement.
